Daniel Heery

Daniel is the founder and director of Alston Cybermoor. Cybermoor is a project in rural Cumbria that successfully delivered the £1.5m Wired up Community Project for the Department of Education and Skills. Cybermoor also delivered the Innovative Actions and broadband projects for the North West Development Agency totalling £250,000, plus an internet telephony project for Northumberland Strategic Partnership totalling £50,000.  In  addition Cybermoor has also carried out usability testing on websites for Local Authorities in Cumbria and the Department for Constitutional Affairs.  Currently Cybermoor is developing a social enterprise pathfinder project for the Department of Health. Other experience includes providing one to one support with a range of organisations and mentoring voluntary sector organisations in ICT in the North-East.
