Malcolm Corbett - founder and former CEO of CBN - is currently on secondment to the newly formed INCA as acting CEO. Malcolm has stepped down from his directorship of CBN during his employment by INCA. Malcolm has nearly 20 years experience in ICT business development. He led the team that set up CBN and has responsibility for CBN’s key relationships in government, regions and with clients. Prior to founding CBN Malcolm was a director of Internet services co-operative Poptel where he gained extensive experience in the technology needs of the private, public and voluntary sectors. He is active in the social enterprise sphere and was the founding Chair of Social Enterprise London. In 1999 Malcolm co-invented the global Internet domain .coop, thus creating the Internet identity for the world’s co-operative sector. Malcolm is a member of the Executive of the UK Broadband Stakeholder Group. He also serves on the Nomad Wireless Forum, the Connected Neighbourhood Forum and was a participant in the high-level HB Summit chaired by the minister, Stephen Timms.
